This trailer sits on the upper lot at least 150 feet from our home with. It is on 7 acres just off San Marcos Pass in West Camino Cielo with a 360-degree view. It is a very quiet and private area with lots of trails for hiking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors. Summertime fog in Santa Barbara means it’s usually always sunny up here. It’s only a 15-minute drive to State Street and La Cumbre shopping center and Highway 101. We do suggest you do a quick drive-up highway 154 to West Camino Cielo just to make sure the daily commute is something you are willing to do.
The trailer has a separate bedroom with a full-size bed. It also has a pop out area which gives more space for a couch, futon or desk. It has a refrigerator, shower, and a regular toilet. The cell phone reception is good enough for calls and Internet access and we provide free StarLink Internet Wi-Fi access. It has an electric 10 gallon water heater. We have solar power and backup batteries so no worry about the power grid going down.
Anything you don’t want in the trailer like couch, table, chairs, appliances, can all go, if you want to put some of your items in there, or they can stay. We have removed all propane as it’s too dangerous, the forced air heating too noisy and to dirty. In place of the propane for heating are two electric far infrared wall heaters, a window AC Unit, microwave oven, toaster oven, and electric hotplate. You will need a queen or full size mattress. You have use of washer and dryer in the garage, purified filtered drinking well water in the garage, no need for bottled water.
